Ireland's National Employment Service consists of 2 strands - the Local Employment Service Network (LESN) which operates through Local Area Partnership companies and FAS, the National Training & Employment Authority.

Funded by FAS, the objective of the Northside Partnership Local Employment Service Network is to act as a gateway, or access point, to the full range of opportunities which are available to enable unemployed persons, living within designated disadvantaged areas, to enter/re-enter the labour market.  The services provided by the Northside Partnership Local Employment Service Network are tailored to the needs of each individual client and the local environment within which they operate.

The range of services provided by the Northside Partnership Local Employment Service includes:

  • A free, safe and confidential environment where you can explore your options in the world of work.
  • General information on training, education and employment options.
  • A personal career path planning service tailored to meet the needs of the individual.
  • Develop a personalised C.V. with the job seeker.
  • Links to local state and voluntary services for specific training, education and job information.
  • One to one support to assist unemployed people in their search for suitable work
  • A service for employers matching their recruitment needs with our job seeker clients who are known individually by local staff.
  • An aftercare support service to employers and successful job seekers
