The Discovery Centre, which is located in Darndale Village Centre, operates a Community Training Centre, an Adult Education Service and a Literacy Service. The Northside Partnership is a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of the Centre.

The Discovery Centre is a learning resource for the whole community, and it offers participants the opportunity to engage in life-long learning. It offers a number of courses during the day, as well as evening courses. Course topics include literacy, computers, catering and much more.
