The Community Employment Network Support Service PDF Print E-mail

0245138.jpgThe CE Network Support Service plays a key role in providing training and support to FAS Community Employment promoters. A strong focus on the progression of clients from CE is maintained within the CE Network Support Service, providing innovative training and employment programmes for the participants.

These programmes are an important resource for clients of the Local Employment Service Network mediation team as they seek to identify people suitable for referral - specifically people who are referred by the National Employment Action Plan (NEAP) or who are members of the Northside Partnership's priority target groups.

Through the Community Employment Framework committee, the Partnership works with FAS in the monitoring and targeting of Community Employment Programmes as labour market opportunities. Monitoring of government policy in relation to CE/JI is important and liaison with FAS ensures that resources are used to provide opportunities to those who find it most difficult to access employment.
